Company Policy

  •  Household Refuse - Place rubbish out at curbside by 5:00AM the morning of pickup or the night before pickup.  Drivers will not return to pick up trash if it is not out on the day of pickup; trash will be removed the following week.

We do not accept acids, infectious waste, oil waste, gas, anti-freeze, chemicals, batteries, hot ashes or any other poisonous or hazardous materials - call 1-800-HHW-PKUP, or check the PADEP website or your local county/community website.  All radioactive materials, e.g. smoke detectors, tissues or other waste products from people undergoing radiation therapy, etc., should be treated as hazardous and not disposed in household trash.

All injection needles must be inside a sealed container (i.e a coffee can with lid) to be accepted for trash pickup.

  •  Yard Waste - Twigs and branches must be securely tied in 4 ft. bundles. We encourage customers to use grass for mulch or put grass in a compost pile.  An alternate approach to collecting grass trimming is to simply let the grass lay.  The uncollected clippings serve as a source of a natural fertilizer for lawns, returning nitrogen back to the soil.  Why waste our valuable landfill space with something so useful and biodegradable?
  •  Billing - Payment is expected 15 days from the date invoice is received.  Any changes in billing or name should be reported to the office.  Please be advised that according to the Truth and Lending Bill Regulation L Paragraph, 2264 Subsection C - out Company will hold customers responsible for any charges incurred for collection on their delinquent account.  All payments should be made directly to the Accounting Office at P.O. Box 150, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.  No cash payment will be accepted by mail and we are not responsible for any cash given to drivers.
  •  Holidays - If a holiday falls on a weekday, all customers whose trash and recycling day follows that holiday will be serviced one day late.  Sunday holidays will have no change for weekly pickup.  All holidays observed by our Company are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
  •  Inclement Weather - Days that there will be no trash removal services due to bad weather, please listen to our answering service for a message, WFMZ-TV (or www.wfmz.com), WAEB 790 AM or WZZO 95.1 FM.  Trash or recycling will then be picked up the following day, pending weather and road conditions.
